Miss Ellie was Grandma's (Ferne Rawson) very first Dexter. Miss Ellie was already old when Grandma bought her. She was old, grumpy and was far from perfect, but she developed the passion in our family for Dexter Cattle. If you look hard in our pedigrees you will still see her pop up from time to time.
