During checkout you will be asked if you wish to “Contact Hawkeye Breeders directly to arrange/pay for shipping” OR “You will pay Grandma’s Dexter Farm to do it at the time of purchase. Either way is perfect.

 

The purchaser understands that they are responsible for paying the shipping and handling fees at the time of purchase or directly to the storage facility, prior to shipment. The purchaser has 30 days, from the date of release, to either ship the semen or set-up their own account for storage. After 30 days the semen may be forfeit and the purchaser will not be entitled to a refund.

 

Steps to make sure you do:

Find the AI Tech who is going to do the Artificial Insemination for you.

Find out the conception rate for them and plan accordingly. If they get 60% the first round, get enough straws to make sure you don’t need to ship again. Shipping is the most expensive part of AI.

Find out if you can store straws with them or locate a place to store until used plus any extras.

Make sure to order in enough time to get the straws where you need them, when you need them.

The shipping covers the shipping to you and the return trip for the tank.

Straws are typically released to you or a notification is sent to ship within 24 hours of purchase. Many times within the first two hours.
